Terms & Conditions for Facebook Promotion (the “Promotion”)
a) The Promotion is organised and run by Primark Limited who can be contacted at Arthur Ryan House, 22-24 Parnell Street, Dublin 1 (“Primark”) and is administered by Live & Wired LTD, who can be contacted at Unit 306, Metropolitan Wharf, 70 Wapping Wall, London E1W 3SS. b) By entering this Promotion you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by Primark, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Promotion. c) The Promotion starts at 17:00 and ends at 19:40 on 18th December 2018.
2. Who can enter this Promotion?
a) Viewers wishing to enter the Promotion must be residents of Ireland with an Irish postal address and aged 18 or over. b) The Promotion is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Primark or Live & Wired, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Primark or Live & Wired, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Promotion, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. c) By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Primark reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all viewers and disqualify a viewer for submitting false information.
3. How does the Promotion work?
a) No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion and entry is free. b) On 18th December 2018, a live Facebook video will be published on the official Primark UK Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/Primark(the “Video”). There will be 6 games that audience members can enter by interacting with the Facebook Live stream, by following the instructions as provided by the presenter. There will be 6 Promotions during the Video. c) Viewers will have no less than 30 seconds after each game has begun during the Video to enter the specific Promotion as set out in section 3(d) below (each an“Entry Period”). d) To enter the Promotion, viewers must leave a comment during the relevant Entry Period stating the correct answer to the question asked by the presenter. The first entrant to successfully comment with the correct answer will be deemed to be the winner. e) All Entries must be received by Primark during the Entry Period or they will be void. Primark will not accept responsibility for: i. Promotion entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or ii. any change in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent a winner from accepting, taking or using a prize. f) After the expiration of the relevant Entry Period, the one (1) winner’s name will be announced in real time at the end of the applicable Entry Period. g) The winners will be announced at the end of each Entry Period and will also be communicated in the comments section accompanying the Video. The winners must privately message Primark via the email address provided to them via the comments section on the original post within 24 hours of their win being announced. In the message winners must provide an Irish address and contact details for the Prize to be delivered to. The winner will receive the Prize within twenty-eight (28) days of the Promotion. Delivery will be at the cost of Primark. i) Failure to claim the Prize in accordance with clause 3(j) above will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and an alternative winner may be chosen. If a winner is found to be ineligible or if any potential winner does not comply with the Terms, then the winner may, in Primark’s sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternate winner, as applicable, may be selected.
j) The decision of Primark regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
4. What are the prizes?
These terms & conditions shall be covered by English law and the courts of the England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction
